The corridor reopens to full traffic following a two-year reconstruction programme delivered without a single full closure.
RotDej Nigeria Limited has completed the rehabilitation of 62 kilometres of federal highway across Niger and Kogi States, restoring the corridor to a twenty-year design life.
The programme included full-depth pavement reconstruction, renewal of the drainage network and the reconstruction of eleven culvert crossings, all delivered under managed traffic conditions.
"This corridor carries freight that the regional economy depends on," said the Managing Director. "Closing it was never an option, so we built around the traffic rather than removing it."
