A 340-metre, seven-span bridge eliminates a 55-kilometre seasonal detour for two host communities.
The Kaduna River Crossing has opened to traffic, connecting communities that were previously separated for several months of every year during the flood season.
The structure comprises seven spans on bored pile foundations installed to 34 metres, with precast deck segments fabricated off-site to minimise activity in the watercourse.
The project was completed with zero lost-time injuries across more than 600,000 worked hours.
